CURRICULUM

NAF is implementing a state-of-the-art online curriculum management, design, and development system. NAF Academy courses are accessed via a secure Internet portal which enables teachers to access up-to-date, industry-validated curriculum, customize lessons to meet local needs, and submit them for publication to the entire NAF network. Training on the use of this system is provided at NAF's Institute for Staff Development.

As the system develops, NAF, with leading industry and education experts, will continue to update the Academy curricula to address current industry needs and trends. This new online system will allow NAF to continue to improve upon its most recent curriculum revision with eight new courses and approximately 500 lessons, keeping the material current in the rapidly changing information environment. This online development process responds to changes in industry, ensuring that what is being taught in the classroom is always industry-validated and relevant.
