The government may claim that the economy and employment situation are under control, but any adult knows that it could possibly just be a smokescreen. The reality of the situation is that adults are losing their jobs at a higher rate, employers aren’t hiring as many workers, and workers’ hours are being cut like crazy. With all this fear about the economy and employment, it makes a person want to prepare for the worst.

It’s a chance for those people who fear losing their job to jump to a new career without being fired or let go first.

Insurance Representative. Many insurance companies are looking to hire new representatives to sell insurance, maintain policy holders, and offer good customer service. Most of these companies require that their employees at least have a general college degree or a degree in financing or business. As insurance is a field that will never decrease in public demand, there are lots of jobs out there. The best part is if you work for an auto insurance company, you could get a slight discount and end up saving money!

IT Career. Technology is only increasing. The world relies on computers and technology more than ever. This means that people need computer repairs, tech support, and tech-related help. Almost every IT career requires some type of technical college education, and there are millions of jobs waiting to be filled in this area.
